As a Fine Arts major at the University of New Hampshire, my first experience in graphic design was as an art assistant with our public television station. Later, a class in graphic design at the Museum School in Boston, Mass, gave me inspiration and a strong foundation as a self-taught designer.
My design work is informed by my fine arts background, and years of studying the work of award-winning designers and illustrators. I have honed my skills over the years with countless collaborations and solo projects.
Several years ago I felt it becoming important to offer my clients Web design as well as graphic design. In 2006 I completed a program for an Advanced Certificate in Web Design from Marlboro College Graduate Center in Brattleboro, Vermont. This experience has broadened my understanding of the elements that comprise a Web site that is a pleasure to to use, as well as pleasing to the eye.
